The model number is on a silver sticker on the underside of the keypad housing and on the control board inside the opener cover.

- The intercom buzzes, but the gate won’t release when you press the button. The release relay on the access control board is stuck or burned. This is a fireable safety issue, not a nuisance: if the board fails closed, the gate may not release for emergency vehicles.
- Symptoms that come and go with the temperature. Cold solder joints on BFT control boards expand and contract with Fullerton’s hot afternoons and cool nights. Intermittent failure is the classic signature.
